The third Sunday in Advent … The Children’s Pageant.

  • There is no recorded sermon today, as we enjoy our children and their Christmas Pageant.  Thanks to God for Gail Erwin as she directs the kids again this year.
  • Today’s Bible Reading is from John 1:1-12 and the theme of “When God Shows Up (will we recognize God’s presence).”  This week’s My Faith Journal invites us to explore this theme through our reading, our prayers and our hearts this week.

This past Christmas at the Methodist Church

(SSP is our project where teens rebuild homes on Native American Reservations.  Last summer we sent 69 kids, more than any church in our district.  Revival in the Redwoods is our summer camp.  For both of the above projects, most of the kids are not from our church.  All are welcome!)
